About Vendar
Vendar ranks agencies for one buyer need at a time, in one city at a time, only on work we can document: case studies, project pages and client reviews, each with its source and the exact words it rests on. Every position explains itself, and payment never changes the order.

What we publish
Rankings of SEO agencies and mobile development companies in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Miami, Houston and Phoenix, split by the need a buyer actually has: local SEO, technical SEO, ecommerce, iOS apps, Flutter and so on. Each ranking answers one question, for example which agencies have documented local SEO work for businesses in Los Angeles.
A profile for every ranked company: what it has documented, for which clients, with what results, what it charges when it says so, where its evidence is thin, and what to ask before signing.
The same data in machine-readable form for AI assistants, at /ai.
How the evidence is collected and checked
- Our crawler, VendarBot, reads a company's own pages and respects robots.txt. A separate search looks for independent sources: client sites, press, awards, partner listings and reviews.
- AI models extract each claim with the verbatim quote it rests on. Code confirms the quote is on the page; a claim whose words are not there is dropped.
- A second model checks every claim against its page before it is published. A claim the page does not support stops counting.
- Every claim keeps its source address, the date it was observed and who is speaking: the agency itself, a client, the press or a platform.
- Evidence is re-collected every three months and each profile shows the date its data was last checked.
The full rule set, weights and penalties are public on How we rank.
What a position means, and what it does not
A position reflects documented work for the page's question, not the quality of an agency as such. Without a public case or a visible campaign the result of an agency's work cannot be known from outside. An agency with no public evidence is not worse: there is nothing to confirm it with, so it is listed below the ranking instead of being ranked low.
Claims are checked by AI models, not by people. Code confirms that the quoted words are on the page; it cannot confirm that the page itself tells the truth. A case study on an agency's own site is labelled as the agency's own word.
Independence
Paid visibility never changes the order of a listing. If featured placements are sold, they carry a Featured label, no rank number, and a paid flag in the machine feed. No vendor pays for visibility today.
